Aceia Maysonet is a dynamic creative professional, educator, and academic advisor with a multifaceted background spanning writing, production, teaching, and student support. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing for TV & Film from Full Sail University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Florida State University, along with an Associate of Arts degree.

Professional BacKground
Aceia has served in a variety of impactful roles including an Academic Advisor and Admissions Editor at Jack Westin, where she guided pre-medical students through the intricacies of personal statements, secondary essays, and medical school admissions.
She also worked as an Abuse Counselor for the Department of Children and Family Services, providing crisis support, assessments, and referrals.
Her previous positions include High School English teacher, middle school ELA instructor, Lead Sales Representative, Teacher’s Assistant, and Data Analyst Assistant at the FSU College of Medicine, where she also served as a Program and Production Assistant.
Creative Background
Aceia is an accomplished writer, producer, actor, and singer. She wrote, produced, and starred in the original web series Courage to Conquer, and authored more than 15 stage play’s, including her most popular play called Choices.
Her creative portfolio includes a children’s book and ghostwritten novel on Amazon, over 10 short stories, a feature film, and multiple novel’s currently in progress. She has also written and performed original music for her own productions. Her media work includes scripting, directing, and producing video content for organizations like the FSU College of Medicine, Take Stock in Children, and Jack Westin MCAT Company.
Aceia’s work is grounded in purpose, whether mentoring students, crafting powerful narratives, or leading creative projects, she brings clarity, compassion, and vision to every space she enters. Her mission is to uplift, inform, and inspire through storytelling, advocacy, and education.
